In remote villages in Gambia, medical care is often inaccessible. Untreated wounds often lead to serious complications. Flemish nurses, through Gammol's Leetulor project, are bringing care and expertise in wound care directly to local communities.
Mien is in Gambia for eight months, hosting colleagues. Together, they visit villages and train local people in wound care.
